CAA is a powerful and determined force for change—despite having no paid staff, office, or benefits. Everything we achieve is powered by passion, commitment, and grassroots support. Our work continues to grow with a full slate of ongoing initiatives, including The Partnership to Ban Horse Carriages Worldwide—CAA’s sister organization—which now has active chapters in Atlanta (GA), Boston (MA), Cape May (NJ), Charlotte (NC), Charleston (SC), Lexington (KY), New Orleans (LA), Philadelphia (PA), and Savannah (GA). We’re also collaborating with advocates in the Niagara region of Canada to push for a ban there. We’re equally excited to begin working with Fur Free Chicago, a new coalition drawing from some of CAA’s strategies to help end the sale of fur in our city.
